Scott Lawrie Gallery has moved to a purpose-designed gallery space at The Steelworks at Mount Eden.
To celebrate the new space, the gallery is hosting its largest show ever – SENSATION_22. It showcases new and recent work by 28 artists – from international superstars Patricia Piccinini and Sally Gabori, to New Zealand’s own senior modernist megastar Roy Good, and a host of newer, younger artists such as Niue-born Marcus Hipa (whose magnificent ‘Petals Adrift’ painting is seen here), and also features many special guests.
It packs a fervent visual punch and in-your-face raw intellect at every turn.
The show runs for three weeks and opens on Saturday 9 April, 11-5pm.
The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday. For details see www.scottlawrie.com
