Pop-up exhibition of Manu Rere
A special flock of Manu Rere, traditionally made flying kites, lands for their first migrating flight away from their Hokianga nest.

Auckland Museum Institute presents an introduction to Matariki, Maramataka and Mātauranga
Dr Dan Hikuroa will talk about and engage in discussion regarding Matariki, its purpose and role in customary and contemporary society, and about how it is situated within the Maramataka - the Māori stella-lunar-ecological calendar.

Matariki on the Waterfront - Tāmaki makaurau
Matariki on the Waterfront returns to Silo Park once more, promising two days of experiences to invigorate the soul and warm the senses during the cold of winter.
