We are looking for passionate, art-loving individuals, who are well-organised and eager to learn to Volunteer at Northart Gallery!

Volunteering at Northart entails a range of tasks, including: 

  • welcoming visitors to the gallery
  • hosting visitors
  • monitoring & organising the gallery space
  • liaising with onsite staff 
  • cleaning & maintenance

Volunteering with Northart is a great way of gaining insight into and knowledge of a contemporary art gallery, and presents the opportunity to hone one's communication skills, as well as build relationships with artists and the local community. 

Shifts are usually four hours long in either the morning or afternoon on weekdays and weekends. Volunteers are welcome to commit to as few or as many shifts as they wish and this can be done on an informal basis.
